Let’s make it
Step 1
Add the dry ingredients including: Sultanas, Black Current ,Cashew nut ,Candied peel , Pumpkin preserve ,Chaw Chaw, lemon zest Cherry & Marmalade jam to a bowl. Next add the spices, salt & the brand, mix well.
Step 2
Set aside this fruit mixture in the refrigerator for minimum 1 week.
Step 3
Combine flour, backing soda and breadcrumbs and set aside.
Step 4
Beat butter and MILKMAID with the egg yolks.
Step 5
Next add the dry flour mixture to the above mix, next add the aged fruit mixture and mix well.
Step 6
Add MILKMAID, brandy, rum and orange juice and mix well and steam bake in for 1 and half hours at 160°C.
Step 7
In the mean time to make, Brandy Butter, beat butter and MILKMAID well and add Brandy and beat well.
Step 8
Crumble this prepared Christmas pudding, add strawberry jam and golden syrup and mix well.
Step 9
Make truffles out of the Christmas pudding mix and serve with brandy butter.
