Step 1
Soak gelatin in 4 tbs water; dissolve over a pan of hot water. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine MILKMAID, water and egg yolks. Cook stirring on low fire till mixture thickens. Remove from fire. Mix in the gelatin and vanilla. Leave to cool.
Step 3
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into the custard mixture.
Step 4
Arrange slices of Swiss Roll on bottom and up sides of a bowl. Pour the custard and refrigerate to set. Unmold onto a plate.
