Step 1
Heat the butter in a pan and mix in the cocoa powder. Cook over a low flame for a minute. Add MILKMAID and milk, mix well. Cook over a medium flame till thick. Keep aside to cool.
Step 2
Whisk the eggs and pour into the above mixture. Beat and whisk well. Add the vanilla essence and whisk again. Trim the bread and cut each slice into triangles. Arrange them in a greased glass dish. Sprinkle the cashew nuts over them.
Step 3
Pour the chocolate milk mixture over the bread and allow it to soak, pressing the bread pieces without breaking them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
