You will need

  • -Ingredients (Dough)-
  • Flour 150g
  • Butter 100g
  • Sugar 50g
  • -Ingredients (Caramel)-
  • MILKMAID 510g (large tin)
  • Butter 100g
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Vanilla 1 tsp
  • -Ingredients (Ganache)-
  • Dark chocolate 200g
  • Butter 100g

Let’s make it

-Dough-
Step 1
Mix the flour, sugar, salt, and butter in a bowl.
Step 2
Knead until soft.
Step 3
Flatten the dough on a baking tray lined with oil paper.
Step 4
Bake for 15 mins at 180 degrees.
-Caramel-
Step 5
Mix Milkmaid, butter, salt, and vanilla in a saucepan.
Step 6
Stir until the caramel is thick & light golden brown.
Step 7
Spread the caramel evenly over the shortbread.
Step 8
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
-Ganache-
Step 9
Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over boiling water.
Step 10
Add butter & mix until smooth.
Step 11
Pour ganache over caramel layer.
Step 12
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
